Founded in the 6th Century, Issigeac is the exception in the midst of the neighbouring bastides. The village is full of wooden and stone houses, where the shade and the light inter mingle, where the houses intertwine, and thanks to the preservation of its buildings dating from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century, Issigeac has managed to maintain many historical memories and images from the past.
The menu offers you local cuisine and a menu of the day at 12 euros. The entrance is friendly and the shaded terrace invites you to idle away your time at a table. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms which allow you to benefit from the tranquility of the village: The cafe is listed as one of the most ancient in Aquitaine.

'Le Tertre de Larchere,' is a small vineyard of 5 hectares and is situated in the commune of Pomport. It overhangs the small valley of the Gardonnette and in this way also profits from the morning haze of a favourable autumn as they ripen. They produce a fruity Monbazillac which should accompany melon, foie gras and would be delicious served cold as an apertif.
